दीक्षांत समारोह को संबोधित करते हुये मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने कहा कि इस विशेष मौके पर जिन छात्र-छात्राओं ने उपाधि और गोल्ड मेडल प्राप्त किये हैं, उन्हें मैं शुभकामनायें देता हूं। यह आपके लिये गौरवपूर्ण क्षण है। आपने कठिन परिश्रम और अध्ययन के बाद यह उपलब्धि हासिल की है। 25 सितम्बर 2012 को पटना एम्स का उद्घाटन किया गया। उद्घाटन समारोह में मैं भी शामिल था। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वर्ष 2013 से एम्स की शुरूआत हो गयी। यहां पर 960 बेड उपलब्ध है। सभी प्रकार की सर्जरी एवं अन्य जटिल रोगों का इलाज बेहतर ढंग से होता है। कोरोना के समय पूरे बिहार में सबसे बढ़िया इलाज पटना एम्स में ही हो रहा था। एम्स की मांग पर हमलोगों ने 330 करोड़ रूपये की राशि से 27 एकड़ जमीन एम्स को और उपलब्ध करा रहे हैं। एम्स के बगल में ही मरीजों के परिजनों को ठहरने के लिये 248 बेड का धर्मशाला का निर्माण जल्द पूरा होगा ताकि मरीजों के परिजनों को किसी प्रकार की कोई समस्या नहीं हो। पटना एम्स पहुंचने में किसी को दिक्कत नहीं हो, इसके लिये हमने एलिवेटेड सड़क बनवाई। यहां आने में किसी को कोई परेशानी नहीं हो, इसको लेकर सभी तरह की व्यवस्था की जा रही है। पटना एम्स को आगे जो भी जरूरत होगी, राज्य सरकार उसमें सहयोग करेगी। कार्यक्रम को केन्द्रीय स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण राज्यमंत्री डॉ. भारती प्रवीण पवार, एम्स के अध्यक्ष डॉ. सुब्रत सिन्हा, कार्यपालक निदेशक डॉ. गोपाल कृष्ण पाल ने भी संबोधित किया।

डॉ. पवार ने कहा कि एम्स एक ब्रांड हैं। बैठक में चिकित्सकों को गुणवता बरकरार रखने एवं अनुसन्धान आधारित कार्य करने की सलाह दी। उन्होंने कहा कि एम्स पटना में फैकल्टी की जो कमी है उसे जल्द ही दूर करने का भी निर्देश अधिकारियों को दिया गया। केंद्रीय मंत्री ने बताया कि एम्स को जारी बजट पूरी तरह से सही मायने में ख़र्च हो रही है या नहीं, इसकी भी समीक्षा की गयी ।

केंद्रीय मंत्री डॉ. पवार ने बताया कि बिहार में राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य मिशन (एनएचएम) के अधिकारियों के साथ केंद्र सरकार द्वारा प्रायोजित स्वास्थ्य योजनाओं के बिहार राज्य में क्रियान्वयन को लेकर भी समीक्षा बैठक की गयी। उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य मिशन के तहत केंद्र सरकार द्वारा प्रायोजित स्वास्थ्य योजनाओं के लिए बजट 1500 करोड़ उपलब्ध राशि को सही ढंग और तय समय के अंदर खर्च करनेका निर्देश दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि बिहार राज्य को इसीआरपी- 1 के तहत 200 करोड़ इसीआरपी -2 के तहत 1000 करोड़ राशि उपलब्ध कराई गई है, जिसके तहत कार्य चल रहा है जो जल्द पूरे होने की उम्मीद है।

केन्द्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि कोरोना काल के बाद ज़्यादातर कार्य त्वरित माध्यम से हो रहा है ताकि किसी भी विपदा से बचा जा सके। प्रधानमंत्री ने स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में अच्छे बजट उपलब्ध कराए हैं ताकि प्रत्येक राज्य किसी भी चुनौती से लड़ सकें। 15 वें वित् आयोग द्वारा 2021-22 के लिए बिहार स्वास्थ्य विभाग को 1100 करोड़ की राशि दी गई जो अभी तक ख़र्च नहीं हो पाई है, जिसे जल्द से जल्द उपयोग करने का निर्देश दिया गया। प्रधानमंत्री आयुष्मान भारत स्वास्थ्य अवसंरचना मिशन के द्वारा मिलने वाली सुविधाओं को स्थापित करने के लिए भी भारत सरकार द्वारा वित्तीय वर्ष 2021-22 के तहत 839 करोड़ की राशि बिहार सरकार को दिया गया है, इसका ख़र्च भी अभी तक बिहार सरकार द्वारा नहीं किया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि केंद्रीय स्कीम के तहत आठ मेडिकल कालेज को बिहार में मंज़ूरी मिली है जिसमें पूर्णिया, सारण और समस्तीपुर शामिल हैं, इसका भी कार्य चल रहा है। इसके लिए 340 करोड़ की राशि उपलब्ध कराई गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि मेडिकल कॉलेजों में पीजी की सीटें बढ़ाने के लिए भी कार्य चल रहा है। बिहार में भी 11 मेडिकल कॉलेजों को लगभग 148 करोड़ रुपया की राशि दी गई है। उन्होंने बताया कि बिहार को सुपर स्पेशलिस्ट हॉस्पिटल के लिए 600 करोड़ की राशि दी गई है जिसके तहत कार्य चल रहा है। जबकि एम्स पटना के लिए प्रतिवर्ष 700 करोड़ रुपया का बजट दिया जा रहा है। केन्द्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में लगभग बिहार राज्य को कुल 12,000 करोड़ रुपया की सहायता भारत सरकार द्वारा दी गयी है, यह राज्य के नागरिकों का पैसा है और इसे सही तरीक़े से ख़र्च करने की ज़रूरत है।

For the unversed, Raju Srivastava suffered a heart attack on August 9 following which he was rushed to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) hospital in Delhi. Srivastava’s team confirmed that he suffered a heart attack while working out at the time. It was later revealed that Raju was working out on the treadmill when had the stroke.

On Monday, Shekhar Suman shared Srivastava’s health update and mentioned that even though the comedian is still unconscious, his organs are now functioning normally. “Today’s update on Raju according to his family members.. his organs are functioning normally. Though still unconscious, doctor says, he is supposedly improving steadily. Mahadev ki kripa. Har Har Mahadev” he wrote.

Prior to this, Raju Srivastava’s wife Shikha Srivastava also issued a statement and assured all that her husband’s condition is stable. “He is stable. Doctors are treating him well. Raju ji is a fighter and he will come back to be amongst all of us. We need your prayers and wishes. My sincere request is kindly do not spread rumours. It affects our morale. We do not want negative energy, we need positivity. Please pray for his speedy recovery and he will be back soon. Doctors are giving their best and Raju ji is supporting them, He is fighting. So, kindly do not spread negativity,” she told news agency PTI.

Raju Srivastava is a popular name on the comedy circuit and is widely loved for his impersonation of Bollywood actors and political leaders. WHO also said There are currently more than 100 COVID-19 vaccine candidates under development, with a number of these in the human trial phase. WHO is working in collaboration with scientists, business, and global health organizations through the ACT Accelerator to speed up the pandemic response. When a safe and effective vaccine is found, COVAX (led by WHO, GAVI and  CEPI) will facilitate the equitable access and distribution of these vaccines to protect people in all countries. People most at risk will be prioritized.

Dr Randeep Guleria is hopeful of a coronavirus vaccine by the end of this month or early next month. “We should get emergency use authorisation from Indian regulatory authorities to start giving vaccine to public,” Dr Randeep Guleria added.

The AIIMS Director said that there is good data available that the vaccines are very safe. “Safety and efficacy of vaccine are not compromised at all. Around 70,000-80,000 volunteers have received the vaccine and no significant serious adverse effects were seen. The data shows that in the short term vaccine is safe,” news agency ANI quoted Guleria as saying.

He further added, “Chennai trial case is an incidental finding rather than related to vaccine. When we vaccinate a large number of people, some of them may have some other disease, which may not be related to vaccine.”

The AIIMS report declaring the death of Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput a “case of suicide” matches the conclusion the CBI’s investigators reached after their reconstruction of the incident. And a forensic audit of Rajput’s bank accounts has not thrown up anything “suspicious” to suggest that his friend Rhea Chakraborty could have pushed Rajput to suicide for financial gain, agency sources have confirmed to The Indian Express.

So the CBI, sources said, is now focusing on the gamut of reasons that could have led to the actor taking his own life: any role played by Chakraborty; professional rivalry and nepotism in Bollywood; effect of drug abuse and Rajput’s mental health.

Of the over Rs 70 crore worth of transactions through Rajput’s accounts in the past five years, only about Rs 55 lakh have been found to have been associated with Chakraborty. Most of these, sources said, were expenses on travel, spas and gifts.

“Chakraborty continues to be under scanner for abetment to suicide. But it is true CBI hasn’t yet found any motive for abetment. There was a forensic audit done of Rajput’s account. There is nothing concrete in the audit report to suggest that Chakraborty siphoned off funds and this led to the actor’s suicide. The expenses incurred by Rajput on her are comparatively small and can easily be explained as expenses on a friend. However, there are many angles to the suicide and our investigation is still on,” said an official privy to probe details.
