Taking a major step ahead to digitally optimize the steel making process SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has signed an Agreement with ABB India Limited. This will facilitate collaboration in the development of mathematical and data-based models for optimizing iron-making, steelmaking, and raw material preparation processes. The agreement was signed between Mr. Biswaranjan Palai, ED (Works) RSP and Mr. Animesh Sengupta, Sales Director, ABB India Limited at ED (Works) Conference Hall on 4^th February, 2025. Present on the occasion were Mr. R K Muduli, CGM (Electrical), Mr. K K Sengupta, CGM (C&IT), Mr. S C Patra, CGM (I&A) representatives from ABB India Limited and other senior officers of RSP.
