The River Diversion ceremony was inaugurated by R K Vishnoi, CMD NHPC and witnessed by H Rajesh Prasad, Principal Secretary (PDD); I D Dayal, Chairman RHPCL; Pankaj Mangotra, MD, JKSPDC; Directors of NHPC, A K Nauriyal, CEO, RHPCL and other dignitaries from NHPC and GoJK.
The Ratle Project is being executed by Ratle Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited (RHPCL), a Joint Venture of NHPC Limited and GoJK with shareholding of 51:49 percent, respectively. Ratle HE project is situated on River Chenab in Kishtwar District with installed capacity of 850 MW. CCEA sanction was accorded to Project by Govt of India in Feb 2021 with total cost of Rs 5281.94 crore.
