BONGAIGAON ( Assam). The Corporate Communication wing of NTPC Bongaigaon organized a Communication Workshop for senior officials of the power station, aiming to strengthen internal and external communication strategies across departments. The workshop was conducted by Shri K. M. Prashanth, General Manager (Corporate Communication), NTPC Ltd.
During the session, Shri Prashanth emphasized the critical importance of effective communication with various stakeholders, including employees, community members, government bodies, and media. He particularly focused on the role of transparent and timely communication in managing sensitive issues and fostering mutual understanding within the NTPC ecosystem.
Shri Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, along with other senior officials from the plant, actively participated in the interactive session. The participants engaged in meaningful discussions and shared insights on improving communication effectiveness in their respective areas of work.
In addition to the workshop, Shri Prashanth also participated in the regional media conference ‘Vartalap’, organised by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Guwahati, in collaboration with NTPC Bongaigaon. Addressing media representatives and stakeholders, he highlighted NTPC’s contributions to the energy sector and its community-focused initiatives. Shri Prashanth also presented certificates to the media persons for their presence and contribution to the workshop.
