SJVN Ltd aims to invest Rs 50,000 crore in developing 10,000 MW solar power projects in Rajasthan over the next five years. The Government of Rajasthan has accepted SJVN’s proposal, and an MoU is set to be signed soon. SJVN plans to establish renewable power projects on land allocated by Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd, leveraging the state’s abundant solar potential, with optimal radiation and over 325 sunny days annually. SJVN currently holds a portfolio of 2,750 MW in renewable energy projects.
According to the statement, the Government of Rajasthan has accepted the proposalof SJVN and an MoU in this regard will be signed shortly.
