Twelve employees including 4 executives of Oxygen Plant, Water Management Department (WMD) and Environment Engineering of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) were awarded under ‘SAIL Shabash’ scheme in a function held on 26th April 2025 at ED (Works) Discussion room. Mr Hiralal Mohapatra, CGM (Utility & Environment) presided over the function and handed over the awards. Mr. S S Saini, GM In-Charge, Oxygen Plant, Mr. Debjit Rabha, GM In-Charge (WMD) and Mr. P C Dash, GM In-Charge, Environment Engineering and Senior Officers of the departments concerned were present on the occasion.
Congratulating the award winners, Mr. Mohapatra applauded their dedication and outstanding performance and urged everyone to continue striving towards achieving the plant’s production, productivity, and techno-economical targets.
The Heads of Departments of the three departments also addressed the gathering, commending the commitment and hard work of their teams.
The recipients of the award in Category –II were Mr. V V R Murty, GM (Environment Engineering), Mr. Ajit Behera, GM (WMD), Mr. Sunil Kumar Panigrahy, AGM (Oxygen Plant) and Mr Dilip Kumar Dalei, Deputy Manager (WMD).
The employees awarded under Category – I were Mr. Jayanta Kumar Sahoo, Junior Engineer (WMD), Mr. MD Mumtaz Khan, Junior Engineer (Oxygen Plant), Mr. Gobinda Chandra Sahoo, Junior Engineer (Oxygen Plant), Mr. Krishna Chandra Sahu, Junior Engineer (Oxygen Plant) and Mr. Niyaran Topno, Junior Engineer (Oxygen Plant).
