NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Tuesday granted bail to BJP youth wing leader Priyanka Sharma who was arrested for putting objectionable picture of West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on social media.
A vacation bench comprising justices Indira Banerjee and Sanjiv Khanna said Priyanka Sharma will apologise in writing upon her release from jail for allegedly posting the morphed picture of the West Bengal chief minister.
The SC had earlier asked Sharma to tender an unconditional apology for posting the morphed photogrpah of the TMC chief to get bail.
