The Govt. of India appointed Shri Sandeep Kumar as Director (Finance) at Power Finance Corporation (PFC) on July 11, 2024. Earlier , he was the Executive Director (Finance) and CFO at PFC since January 2020.
With over 34 years in the power and financial sectors, Kumar is a Commerce graduate and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has held key finance roles at PFC, focusing on fund mobilisation, cash management, and lending operations. Notably, he played a significant role in the INR 1.12 trillion Liquidity Infusion Scheme for the power distribution sector as part of the Atmanirbhar Bharat program.
