A Recognition of Prior Learning certificate distribution function was organized at the Captive Power Plant-1 (CPP-1) Department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant on 25th June 2025. Mr. Deepak Roy, CGM (Power) and Mr. P K Sahoo, CGM (HR-L&D) presided over the function and handed over the certificates to 20 contract workers, recognizing and validating skills and knowledge gained through experience and successful completion of Recognition of Prior Learning Training. Mr. N C Parida, GM (O&M), CPP-1, Mr. K K Jaiswal, DGM (HR-L&D) and many Senior Officers of CPP-1 and L&D Department were present on the occasion.
` The contract workers received certifications in different areas of specialisation. The function was coordinated by Mr. S S S Mohanty, Senior Manager & Training Engineer, CPP-1.
