RailTel received the prestigious Governance Now PSU IT Awards 2023 in the “Cyber Security Champion’ and “Cybersecurity and Data Protection & Data Centre Excellence” categories. Ms. Haritima Jaipuriar, GGM/IT & CISO, was also honoured with the ‘Digital Security Leader (CISO) of the year Award.
RailTel won the Cybersecurity Champion Award in recognition of its successful implementation of secure configuration management, firewall deployment, and intrusion prevention systems at the G20 Summit in New Delhi, effectively preventing unauthorized access and activities within the event’s network environment.
The “Cybersecurity and Data Protection & Data Centre Excellence’ was given for RailTel’s excellence in ensuring operation and security of Data in its two tire III Data Centres and nationwide network which stores/carries critical data of its clients like Ministry of Railways alongwith large Public and Private sector companies and for its Security Operation Centre which provides onsite and offsite security. These awards speaks volume of RailTel’s commitment towards delivering cutting edge Data Security services to its clients. Manoj Tandon, Director/POM, Haritima Jaipuriar, GGM/IT & CISO along with RailTel officials, received the awards.
