The Bhubaneswari Phase-I, a Rs 335 crore First Mile Connectivity project in Talcher Coalfields, promises a 50-minute rake loading time, eco-friendly transportation, reduced emissions, and lower coal transportation costs.
The Lajkura Rapid Loading System, at an investment of Rs. 375 crore, similarly focuses on quality coal supply, reducing loading time to 50 minutes, embracing eco-friendly transport, and cutting overall transportation costs.
The IB Valley Washery in Jharsuguda, costing over Rs. 550 crore, signifies a paradigm shift in coal processing, aligning with India’s vision for cleaner energy solutions. Additionally, the Prime Minister will dedicate a 50 km second track of the Jharsuguda-Barpali-Sardega rail line Phase-1, enhancing rail infrastructure with a Rs. 878 crore investment. With a total investment of Rs. 2145 crore, these initiatives showcase the government’s commitment to fortify coal infrastructure, ensuring consistent and efficient energy supply while benefiting Odisha’s coal industry.
