Shri Shubham Sourave Singh, Manager (Corporate Communications) at Power Finance Corporation (PFC), has successfully completed the 10-day Summer Program 2025 on Sustainable Business at Rennes School of Business, France — one of Europe’s top-ranked institutions known for its emphasis on responsible management, innovation, and global engagement. The immersive program, held from June 16–27, brought together 25 participants from 10 countries and 14 partner universities, covering key topics such as climate action, ESG ethics, circular economy, and responsible leadership.
As part of the program, Mr. Singh presented a research paper titled “Financing a Greener Grid: The Role of Power Finance Corporation in India’s Sustainable Energy Transition”, which was awarded an excellent grade. Engaging in high-impact sessions led by global faculty, including workshops on climate science, CSR culture, and inclusive development, he gained actionable insights aligned with the UN’s SDGs and the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Mr. Singh expressed his enthusiasm to apply these learnings to strengthen sustainability initiatives within India’s public sector.
