At the Conference on “Institutional Arbitration: An Effective Framework for Dispute Resolution,” held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 14 June 2025, ONGC reaffirmed its dedication to advancing India’s arbitration landscape. ONGC Chairman Arun Kumar Singh highlighted the importance of timeliness, transparency, and credibility in institutional dispute resolution, emphasizing that fair and swift arbitration is vital for boosting investor confidence. As the first PSU to adopt the Indian Institute of Arbitrators and Conciliation (IIAC) standards, ONGC continues to lead by example in aligning corporate practices with India’s evolving legal and commercial framework. The event was inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Law and Justice, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, who passionately articulated India’s vision of becoming a global arbitration hub, underscoring the nation’s commitment to establishing a trusted and efficient dispute resolution system.
