Oil and Natural Gas Corporation partnered with NHPC Limited for the economical option of pumped storage. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is for “Cooperation in Exploration & Development of Pumped Hydro Storage & other Renewable Projects” on 15 December 2023. The MOU was signed by Executive Director (SBD&C), NHPC & Executive Director (JV&BD), ONGC.
