The PMI team of Dr. V A Srinivas, Dr. Surenthiran and Ms. Kena Shree represented NTPC under the guidance of Ms. Rachana Singh Bhal, GM (PMI) in three rigorous shortlisting rounds, presenting the innovative practice for the year 2021-22 through Project Snehal, Project Samarth and Virtual Reality modules.
Making it through the rigorous competition, NTPC secured the coveted trophy, which is NTPC’s sixth ISTD win in a row.
While Snehal is an Employee Assistance Programme offering 24*7 counselling facilities for employees and their family members with utmost confidentiality, Samarth Module provides job rotation facilitation training to executives across various departments. Further, the award bears testimony to NTPC’s focus on the adoption of cutting-edge technologies viz. virtual reality (VR) in Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives.
Our people practices aim at achieving excellence in development and management of Human Resources through continuous process improvement, increasing employee engagement, focussed learning and development, providing #career and #growthopportunity and #employeewelfare.
It is an outcome of NTPC’s “People Before PLF” approach which is the guiding philosophy behind the entire gamut of HR policies thus building an enabling and engaging work culture.
