NTPC was recognised for excellence in CSR for contribution to community development through their CSR initiatives in a one decade of CSR celebration by honourable governor of Maharashtra, Shri Ramesh Bai’s and Noble Peace, Laureate Shree Kailash Satyarthi and Chairman,, Dr Huzaifa Khirakiwala Chairman,, India CSR, one decade celebration. The award was received by Ms Vandana Chaturvedi, Regional Head HR- WR1 and Miss Tanya Saini CSR executive on behalf of NTPC. The award is a testimony to the fact that NTPC is not only powering the nation, but also empowering communities around it with sustainable growth.
