LUCKNOW. NTPC Northern Region Headquarters (NRHQ) has signed a MoA with the Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden, Lucknow, to further strengthen its commitment towards environmental sustainability and wildlife conservation through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The MoA has been signed on February 10, and formally exchanged between Sanjay Kumar Biswal (IFS) Director of the Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden, and Rahul Sharma, AGM (HR), NTPC NRHQ. The exchange took place in the presence of SN Panigrahi, CGM (HR), NTPC NRHQ, Dinesh Badola, Ranger, Lucknow Zoo, and other officials.
Under the agreement, NTPC NRHQ will provide financial support for the adoption of four lions and three Royal Bengal tigers. The initiative also includes the installation of two multi-tap water facility systems within the zoo premises to support animal welfare and improve visitor amenities.
