NTPC Mining Limited participated in the IInvenTiv 2026 R&D Fair at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, strengthening its focus on innovation in the mining sector, and signed an MoU with TEXMiN to promote research and indigenous technology development. During the event, CEO Naveen Jain took part in a high-level roundtable on research, development, and innovation, where he emphasised the need to scale up coal utilisation in downstream sectors such as gasification and highlighted the gap between available indigenous technologies and their commercial deployment, calling for stronger collaboration between industry and academia to accelerate adoption.
