NTPC has teamed up with the NHAI to supply Ash from its Thermal Power Plants for road construction. NTPC has placed a contract worth Rs 3,000 Crores through GeM for the transportation of Ash from various Thermal Plants to NHAI locations across the country. Approximately 70% of the Ash used in NHAI’s
road construction projects is sourced from NTPC.
