NTPC Bongaigaon, in collaboration with Corporate QA&I, organized a two-day Quality Meet 2023 on November 17 and 18, 2023 at NTPC Bongaigaon, to deliberate about the various issues, suggestions and new initiatives being taken up by NTPC towards quality assurance in the power plant equipment supply and erection commissioning.The meet featured presentations from various NTPC stations, including a deliberation by Shri Satish Upadhyay, ED-Rammam on “QA Practices in Civil Works of NTPC Projects” on November 17.
Shri Manish Kumar Srivastava, ED (Engineering) , NTPC interacted with the participants in the concluding session. Srivastava emphasized the significant role of CQA and FQA in maintaining quality within the organization. In his address, he said that Quality is the cornerstone of NTPC’s success . Earlier, in the inaugural session, Shri Karunakar Das, Business Unit Head, NTPC Bongaigaon extended a warm welcome to all participants and emphasized the importance of quality in various domains, highlighting the crucial role of FQA in ensuring site erection quality aligning with NTPC’s core value of “Total Quality and Safety.”
