NTPC has been conferred with “Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility” award in the prestigious 18th CII-ITC Sustainability Awards 2023. This is the highest award conferred by CII-ITC. This award recognises companies that have positively impacted both business and society by taking a strategic approach to CSR through collaborative programmes with government and civil society.
The Award was received by Shri Dillip Kumar Patel, Director (HR) and Shri Neeraj Kapoor GM(CSR) in a ceremony organized at New Delhi recently .The Award was presented by Shri Sanjiv Puri, Chairman, Advisory Council, CII-ITC CESD and CMD ITC Limited.
The award has been bestowed upon NTPC for demonstrating highest level of commitment to CSR best practices that contribute to enhancement of Quality of life of communities and NTPC’s contribution as a responsible corporate citizen in nation building consistent with its commitment to a greener and a cleaner tomorrow.
