NTPC Bongaigaon has once again demonstrated its commitment to quality and innovation, with its Samadhan Lean Quality Circle team winning the prestigious Gold Award at the 39th Chapter Convention on Quality Circle and its Allied Concepts, held in Pune on September 20th and 21st, 2024. The event, organized by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), brought together over 350 teams from various sectors to showcase innovative solutions to industry challenges. NTPC Bongaigaon’s cross-functional team, led by Ashish Daniel, impressed the judges with their project addressing operational difficulties in managing medical oxygen cylinders at the station’s oxygen plant. Their solution focused on improving safety and efficiency, with a practical approach that could be replicated across sectors.
