NTPC Bongaigaon and Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club jointly organized a dynamic two-day “Anand Mela” on February 17-18, 2024, themed “NTPC Illuminating Lives.” Inaugurated by Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi, DC, Kokrajhar, the event featured over 25 stalls showcasing diverse Indian culture through food, handicrafts, and more. Cultural performances, game stalls, and CSR initiatives, including distributing solar lanterns to GEM Girls, highlighted NTPC Bongaigaon’s commitment to community engagement and cultural celebration. The Mela emphasized fostering local talent and celebrating the cultural richness of Bodoland Territorial Region and Assam.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Dwivedi spoke on how NTPC Bongaigaon has been powering the region and the country and congratulated the team of professionals for lighting the nation 24/7. Earlier Shri Karunakar Das, Business Unit Head of the station expressed his gratitude to Shri Dwivedi and senior management of ER-II for showering his blessings on the celebrations.
