IIT JEE Advanced Results declared


New Delhi: JEE Advanced Results for this year were declared at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Organized by IIT Madras, the examination was held on 21 May 2017.Approximately 2.21 lakh candidates had registered and appeared for Joint Entrance Test (JEE) Advanced Examination. Candidates, who cleared the JEE Main or the first phase of the two-phase exams, were eligible to sit for the JEE Advanced.

The performance of a candidate in JEE Advanced forms the basis for admission to the bachelor’s, integrated Master’s and dual degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian School of Mines (ISM). There are over 11,000 seats available in the 23 IITs across the country.

New Delhi: Two months back on April 24, 2017, Makkhan Lal Sahu and his wife Meera Devi and their two daughters were brutally murdered on the night ,at their home in Judapur (Sahabpur) village in Nawabganj area, 40 km from Allahabad on Monday morning. The unidentified killers, who might be three or four in number, used blunt objects and sticks in the killings.The killers had chosen night of Sunday and Monday because they might be aware that the lone son of the couple would go to be photographed to appear in an examination.
