New Delhi: The Government is considering propositions to reduce the burden of school bags and for this a number of suggestions were given to lighten the burden of students in an official meeting chaired by HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar. The meeting was organized to review school education as the Minister is quite worried about this issue. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) came forth with solutions such as asking schools to follow a flexible timetable, installing RO for water, permitting students to wear sport shoes to school as they have to carry it separately for games period.

It has been reported that many private hospitals are giving disability certificates to children who are ineligible for getting one, which is unjust to others. Parents have been asking doctors for certificates under the disability quota, and they are ready for any kind of disability for the certificate to be registered to them, be it, autism, intellectual disability or speech order, anything would do if there is a chance for getting admission.

NEET Topper Navdeep Singh wants to join Delhi’s MAMC

New Delhi: 18 years old Navdeep Singh from Mukstar in Punjab secured All India Rank 1 in the National Eligibility cum-Entrance- Test (NEET), 2017. He topped with a score of 697 marks out of 720 in the exam conducted by CBSE that 11.38 lakh students took on May 7 and 6.11 lakh cleared. “I was hopeful of clearing the exam but I had not expected to become the all India topper,” the 18-year-old cricket lover said. Eight transgender also took the test out of which five have qualified.
