After a long wait the Indian cricket team has got their new coach. Captain Virat Kohli's favorite, Ravi Shastri will be the coach of Team India till the 2019 World Cup. Apart from Ravi Shastri, Zaheer Khan has been appointed as bowling coach of the team while Rahul Dravid, who is called the wall of Indian cricket, has been appointed as the batting coach for foreign tournaments. This decision was taken in the leadership of Advisory Committee. In a way, the BCCI has made everyone happy with this decision.
Captain Virat Kohli happy!
Ever since this coach controversy began and the search for a new coach started. From then on, one thing that was coming out was that Captain Virat Kohli wanted Ravi Shastri as a coach. In the end it happened, the captain's choice was justified. Virat and Shastri have always been good with regards, even earlier, when Shastri was the director of the team.

For a long time, cricket fan's wish was that Rahul Dravid should become the coach of the Indian team. In front of Dravid, BCCI had raised this issue many times, but Rahul Dravid wanted to work with U-19 and India-A team. But now Dravid will be coaching team India on foreign tours.
Five people were interviewed
On Monday, Amitabh Chaudhary and BCCI CEO Rahul Johri were also present during the interview of the candidates for the post of Cricket Advisory Committee. Five candidates interviewed during this period. Sachin Tendulkar was associated through video conferencing from London, then Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman were in Mumbai.
