New Delhi: Olympic silver medallist P V Sindhu has set up a summit clash with Olympic champion Carolina Marin after a hard-fought win over World Number 4 Korean Sung Ji Hyun in the semi-finals of the India Super Series.

Cheered on by a sizable crowd at the Siri Fort Sports Indoor stadium in New Delhi on Saturday, Sindhu dished out a superb game to outwit second seeded Hyun 21-18, 14-21, 21-14.

Saina who lifted the title in 2015, beat Chinese Taipei's Chia Hsin Li 21-10, 21-17 to reach the second round in women's singles. Olympic Silver Medallist P.V.
