New Delhi (NM Bureau): With the cyclone ‘title’ ravaging the eastern coasts of India in the province of Andhra Pradesh last week, the trail of destruction left behind has invoked the naming the new babies in this region by its name as a mark of respect of those affected.

‘Titli’ in Hindi language spoken in large part of India means butterfly. The babies names are those who were born either soon after the cyclone crossed the coast or the ones who were born just before it strikes, says a report by Indian news agency PTI.

Several families in the Andhra Pradesh coastal districts of Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur and Nayagarh have named their newborn daughters as "Titli" because they want to remember their children with the name of the calamity.

Allemma of Paradip, who gave birth to twins in Chhatrapur on Thursday morning when the cyclone was just about to strike the coast wants to name both her daughters as ‘Titli’. Similarly, Bimla Das of Plurugada, who also delivered a baby girl in the same hospital, wants to name her after the cyclone, said sub divisional medial officer, Chhatarpur, Kanhu Charan Patra to media.

In the community health centre (CHC) Aska, as many as nine babies were born between Wednesday night and 11 am of Thursday. All of them were girls and most of them want their daughters to be named as ‘Titli’, he added.

Chief district medical officer (CDMO) of Ganjam district Sadananda Mishra informed the news agency that they had admitted over 100 pregnant women in different hospitals in the district on Wednesday for safe delivery. Of them, at least 64 have delivered during the night hour and Thursday morning. Many of the girls born are named ‘Titli’ as a mark of respect of the dead.

Jagatsinghpur CDMO Ashok Pattnaik have also reported to the media similar wishes of the six baby girls born on Thursday last week when the cyclone strikes the coast.

I know that writing posts is boring and time consuming.
But did you know that there is a tool that allows you to create new posts using
existing content (from article directories or other websites from your niche)?
And it does it very well. The new posts are unique and pass the
copyscape test. Search in google and try: miftolo's tools
