An election in Karnataka, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President of state B. S. Yeddyurappa, identified Congress Party President Rahul Gandhi as ‘Bachha’ on Wednesday and said that it would be easy now to defeat the ruling party from the state.

Former Chief Minister of State and BJP’s chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming Karanataka assembly election Mr. Yeddyurappa declared that his party now would win more than 150 seats in the state.

“By bringing that Bachha ‘Kid’ (Rahul Gandhi) in Karnataka, we now ensure that we will win more than 150 seats here,” Yeddyurappa said at a BJP social media conclave.

Previously, the Karnataka BJP chief had called Rahul Gandhi an ‘election Hindu’. Commenting on Rahul Gandhi’s religion, B. S. Yeddyurappa took to his Twitter account and in a ‘welcome’ message for Rahul Gandhi, he had said, “I heartily welcome #ElectionHindu Rahul Gandhi to Ballari.”
