ROURKELA. The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), Rourkela Chapter, in collaboration with the Management Association, Rourkela (MAR), successfully organized a national seminar focused on Strategic Management During a Crisis. The event featured Mr. B K Giri, Executive Director (MD-CMLO), Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), as the Chief Guest. Distinguished Guests of Honour included Mrs. Geetha Shankar, National President of PRCI; Mr. Ramendra Kumar, award-winning author; Dr. Ashok Kumar Panda, State Head of PRCI Odisha; Mr. S S Panda, Secretary of MAR; and Ms. Archana Satpathy, General Manager and Chief of Communications at SAIL.

A highlight of the technical session was a presentation by Ms. Archana Satpathy on Building Trust and Credibility during Times of Crises. Utilizing diverse case studies, she emphasized the critical roles of transparency, truth, and consistent stakeholder engagement in protecting organizational reputation during turbulent periods. The seminar served as a vital platform for industry leaders and delegates to discuss measurable strategies for crisis resilience and effective communication management.
