Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. and Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) signed an MoU to explore the viability for mass-use of Hydrogen Fuel Cell vehicles in India. The MoU was signed at IndianOil R&D Centre, in presence of Dr. Alok Sharma, Director (R&D)- IndianOil, Mr. Puneet Anand, Associate Vice President-HMIL and other dignitaries from IndianOil R&D and HMIL. The event also witnessed flag-off of Hyundai Nexo car (Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle) powered by Hydrogen from IndianOil, for trial runs in Indian test conditions. This collaboration with Hyundai Motor India will enable to conduct in-depth studies in Fuel Cell technology and advance efforts towards realizing a greener mobility ecosystem.
