HUDCO Signs MoUs Worth ₹1.1 Lakh Crore to Boost India’s Port Infrastructure

The Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO), a Navratna NBFC-IFC, has signed six Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with major port authorities, including Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Visakhapatnam Port Authority, Paradip Port Authority, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority, Mumbai Port Authority, and Sagarmala Finance Corporation Limited during Maritime Week 2025 in Mumbai. Valued at ₹1.1 lakh crore, the agreements mark HUDCO’s strategic entry into port and maritime infrastructure financing, supporting the Government’s vision of port-led development under the Sagarmala Programme and *Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047*. Speaking on the occasion, CMD Shri Sanjay Kulshrestha highlighted that the initiative reflects HUDCO’s commitment to driving sustainable growth and transforming India into a global maritime hub.
