GAIL (India) Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) on 6th August 2025, in a strategic move to jointly explore and develop critical mineral resources both domestically and internationally. The MoU was signed by Shri Sanjay Agarwal, Executive Director (Business Development & E&P), in the presence of Shri R.K. Singhal, Director (Business Development), GAIL, and Mr. Sanjeev K Singh, CMD of HCL, along with senior officials from both organizations. This collaboration aligns with India’s vision for resource security and aims to bolster the country’s presence in the global critical minerals sector, ensuring the secure supply of essential minerals vital for future energy and industrial needs.
