NEW DELHI. GAIL (India) Limited celebrated its Foundation Day at the Corporate Office, with employees across the country joining the celebrations virtually through video conferencing.
On this occasion, Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), GAIL, addressed employees and reflected on the organization’s remarkable achievements over the past year. The event was attended by Shri R. K. Jain, Director (Finance); Shri Deepak Gupta, Director (Projects); Shri Ayush Gupta, Director (HR); Shri Sanjay Kumar, Director (Marketing); and Shri R. K. Singhal, Director (BD), along with senior officials, Executive Directors, and employees.
In his address, Shri Gupta underscored GAIL’s pivotal role in strengthening natural gas transmission infrastructure and shaping the energy landscape of a vibrant New India through its integrated portfolio. He highlighted key milestones, including a record Profit After Tax of ₹11,312 crore, a 16,420 km cross-country pipeline network, and India’s first gas-based integrated petrochemical complex, all reflecting GAIL’s dedication to sustainability and community welfare.
Shri Gupta also emphasized recent achievements such as GAIL securing a NIL CAG report for the 16th consecutive year and the launch of SAP S4-HANA, showcasing the company’s commitment to transparency, innovation, and technological excellence.
The celebrations commenced with a cake-cutting ceremony, followed by the CMD’s address and the felicitation of long-serving employees. Shri Gupta reaffirmed that GAIL will continue to play a strategic role in advancing national energy security and contributing to India’s journey of self-reliance.
