GAIL Abha initiative has been developed to focus on conducting entrepreneurial workshops and boot camps to encourage spouses of GAIL employees in remote locations to build on innovative ideas and evaluate their value proposition.
The best ideas will be shortlisted through a series of presentations which will be followed by rigorous 21 weeks of guidance and mentoring by expert faculty for building ideas into business opportunities. During this period fortnightly handholding sessions will be conducted along with mentorship and assistance on applying for seed funding, registration of the firm, facilitation like Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS), etc.
To take the initiative forward, GTI Noida has tied up with IIT Madras for educating, mentoring, and hand-holding the spouses of employees at Pata, Dibiyapur, and Vijaipur to begin with.
