An award ceremony was organized at the Conference Hall of Plate Mill Department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), on 18th July, 2025. Mr. Etwa Oraon, CGM (Plate Mill) chaired the function and presented Shabash certificates to 32 employees of the Department. Present on the occasion were Mr. Y K Roy, GM, Mr. S K Nahak, DGM, Mr. Satyadev Sharma, AGM and other senior officers of the department. The employees were awarded for achieving the highest-ever road dispatch of 9,502 tons in the month of March, a milestone made possible through the exemplary teamwork of the shipping crew.
Congratulating the recipients of the award, Mr. Oraon urged them to continue the good work and exhorted the collective to excel in every endeavour.
The award function was coordinated by Mr. Shakti Sekhar Sarangi, Manager (Plate Mill).
