On the occasion of Engineer’s Day 2025, the Eminent Engineers Award was conferred upon Shri Rajiv Dhankher, Director (Project & Planning), DMRC. The award was presented during the 58th Engineer’s Day celebration organized by The Institute of Engineers (India), Delhi State Centre.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Shri Dhankher highlighted the critical challenges of executing tunneling works using Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) in densely populated areas of Delhi, while emphasizing the importance of core engineering practices and the quality of engineers in nation-building.
The Eminent Engineers Award is presented annually to engineers who have made exceptional contributions in their field on the occasion of Engineer’s Day.
