Delhi Metro Signs MoU with IIT Hyderabad’s TiHAN for Next-Gen Autonomous Navigation Solutions

DMRC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Hyderabad’s Technology Innovation Hub for Autonomous Navigation (TiHAN). This MoU will leverage each others strength and knowhow in implementation of Autonomous Navigation which is a Safe Smart and Next Gen Mobility solution for last mile connectivity in major metros and public transit in Tier II & III cities. TiHAN is a hub set up by Department of Science & Technology (DST) National Mission in the Cyber Physical Systems for development of Autonomous Navigation and Data Acquisition Systems that enables Ground vehicles, Robots, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles / Drones or other autonomous platforms to navigate and collect data without human interventions.

Delhi Metro Signs MoU with IIT Hyderabad’s TiHAN for Next-Gen Autonomous Navigation Solutions

The MOU was signed by Sh. Shobhan Chaudhuri Advisor / R&D from DMRC and Dr. Santosh Reddy Hub Executive Officer, TiHAN from IIT/Hyderabad in the presence of Dr. Vikas Kumar, MD/DMRCL along with Shri. Manuj Singhal Director / Infrastructure and other Directors from DMRC side and Prof. Malla Reddy, Dean/Innovation and Prof. P. Rajalakshmi from IIT/Hyderabad.
