DAKSH Leadership Program Launched at IIM Ahmedabad to Empower Future-Ready PSE Leaders

DAKSH Leadership Program, a flagship initiative jointly conceptualized by the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) and the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), was launched at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA). Designed to foster agile, future-ready leadership across India’s Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs), the six-day high-intensity program brought together over 75 senior executives for an immersive experience combining case-based discussions, peer learning, and expert-led faculty sessions. Delivered in collaboration with McKinsey & Company and IIM Ahmedabad, the program aims to instill long-term thinking, integrity-led leadership, and large-scale impact. Shri Adil ZainulbhaiAdil Zainulbhai, Chairman , Capacity Building Commission, also grace the inaugural event .

Shri Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE, lauded the initiative as “a critical step in equipping PSE leaders for the future.” Prof. Bharat Bhasker, Director, IIM Ahmedabad, emphasized the importance of executive education in nation-building, while Dr. Alka Mittal, Member (Admin), CBC, highlighted DAKSH as “a transformative leadership platform.” Prof. Pradyumana Khokle, Chairperson, Executive Education, IIMA, expressed pride in hosting the pioneering batch. The event marked the beginning of a broader rollout, with CBC and SCOPE planning to launch 20 such leadership programs nationwide.
