Cricbuzz's Dominance as India's No. 1 Cricket Platform Reinforced by Comscore Report

National, 25th November, 2025: Cricbuzz, India’s most trusted cricket platform, reaffirmed its position at the top, according to Comscore’s Sports Highlights on Digital 2025 – India Edition report. While the report reveals the evolving nature of India’s sports audience, Cricbuzz’s leading position remains unaltered for over 10 years.

As the primary digital destination for cricket content, Cricbuzz maintains its dominant position, with a user base more than double that of its nearest competitor. Covering live scores, news, video analysis, and statistics across international fixtures and global leagues, Comscore’s report is a testament to Cricbuzz’s 53 million unique visitors in the digital sports landscape.

Internal platform data from IPL 2025 demonstrates Cricbuzz’s record breaking engagement:

  • 25 million daily active users throughout the tournament

  • 110 billion impressions generated

  • 12 billion minutes of content consumed – equivalent to over 20,000 years

In addition to the above, during peak cricket season Google Trends data revealed that “Cricbuzz” was searched more frequently than the term “cricket” itself, underscoring the platform’s brand dominance.

With the increasing digital population, brands are becoming more and more aware about the use cases of digital strategy and pushing deals/ communications through the right, viable channels to reach the target audiences. The Comscore report examines user behaviour, the consumption patterns of digital content and the interaction with sports online. The numbers and the findings show the transformation which defines the future of the industry. The report further highlights significant audience overlap between sports fans and key consumer categories, particularly in retail and financial services. During IPL 2025, 76 global brands partnered with Cricbuzz, leveraging this alignment to reach highly engaged audiences.

The platform demonstrates its international appeal, with 241,000 daily viewers, 40-minute average watch times per match day, and 629 million total minutes of live cricket consumed during IPL 2025 live streaming in the MENA region.
