An award distribution programme under Instant Recognition Scheme was organised at theRoll Shop department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant recently. Mr. Subrat Kumar, CGM (HSMs & Auxiliaries) presided over the function and presented the awards to 11 Contract labours from different agencies. Present on the occasion were Mr. S R Mohapatra, General Manager In-Charge (Roll Shop), Ms. Sangeeta M Sindur, Senior Manager (HR-CLC), and other Senior Officers and employees of Roll Shop, concerned representatives of the different agencies.
Mr. Kumar praised all the awardees for their outstanding contributions and emphasized the importance of quality, cost and safety in their respective work areas and encouraged everyone present to work pro-actively and go beyond the targets. Notably, the contract workers were awarded for various innovative and productive jobs carried out at the Roll SHop.
