CONCOR Marks Major Milestone with Launch of Its First Bill of Lading for Overseas Cargo

Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR) achieved a significant milestone with the launch of its first-ever Bill of Lading (BL) for export cargo carried in the company’s own container. The BL was formally launched by Shri Sanjay Swarup, Chairman and Managing Director, CONCOR, for a consignment bound for Southeast Asia. This historic shipment represents multiple firsts for the organisation, including CONCOR’s first overseas movement of refrigerated cargo in its own container, the first BL issued directly by the company, and its first direct export movement to a Southeast Asian port.

The initiative underscores CONCOR’s growing capabilities as an integrated logistics service provider and reflects its strategic focus on global connectivity and customer-centric solutions. Powered by CONCOR’s unified digital platform, the new system enables seamless online creation of Bills of Lading along with end-to-end cargo visibility, enhancing transparency, efficiency and ease of doing business for exporters. This development is expected to further strengthen CONCOR’s presence in international logistics and support India’s expanding foreign trade.

Shri Sanjay Swarup emphasized that the launch reinforces CONCOR’s commitment to modernizing supply chain operations and expanding its presence in international markets.
