On the ‘Mohalla Clinic Bill’, a renewed battle has started in the Kejriwal government and Deputy Governor Anil Baijal. On Wednesday, about 40 MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party, reached Raj Bhavan and demanded Deputy Governor to sign the bill. These MLAs say that they will not go to the Raj Bhavan until the Deputy Governor Anil Baijal does not sign on the ‘Mohalla Clinic Bill’. After about 7 hours of conflict, MLAs were taken out of the Raj Bhavan on late evening. Earlier Deputy Governor Anil Baijal refused to sign on this ambitious project of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Arvind Kejriwal tweeted on this issue, “There shud be no politics wid Moh Clinics. It involves health of 2 cr Delhiites. LG must clear file immediately now.” Kejriwal further said that the delay in the bill is causing the loss of the public. The Deputy Governor should call everyone and try to resolve the deadlock on this issue. If the Deputy Governor wishes, then I am ready to come to the Raj Bhavan with my ministers.
