Shri P. M. Prasad, Chairman, Coal India addressed virtually the 6th edition of ‘International Conference on Opencast Mining Technology and Sustainability’ (ICOMS) organised by Coal India subsidiary Northern Coalfields Ltd. in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh.
In his address Shri Prasad, highlighted the importance of mechanisation & digitalisation for sustainable mining. He said ICOMS is a classic example of industry-academia collaboration enabling research and development to implement new practices in the mining sector.
Shri Bhola Singh, CMD, NCL and senior management of NCL were present on the occasion. Over 200 delegates and exhibitors are participating in the two-day event.
