Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD, NTPC has been bestowed with the prestigious “Basant Sammaan” award by IIT (ISM) Dhanbad during its Centenary year Basant Sammelan recently. The award recognises the highest level of excellence by an individual in their respective fields that has brought glory to the nation. The award was bestowed in absentia. Shri Animesh Jain, RED (Coal Mining) and CEO (NML) joined virtually and addressed the gathering on behalf of CMD, NTPC.
The functions were attended by eminent personalities, distinguished faculty members and IIT ISM Alma Mater from India & abroad. IIT(ISM) Dhanbad has been a beacon of excellence in the mining and energy sectors for a century, shaping India’s mining landscape through research, innovation and nurturing skilled professionals.
