Locals to get Holi gift from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation soon after being reported that a section of the Delhi Metro's newly-built Pink Line is set to open soon with the connection of north with west and south.
The Commissioner for Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) will be inspecting the 20.6 km-long Majlis Park-Durgabhai Deshmukh South Campus stretch of the upcoming Pink Line (Majlis Park-Shiv Vihar) between February 26 and 28. Safety inspection is the last procedure before a line is thrown open to public, the Delhi Metro said on Tuesday.
The trial runs on the 20.6 km-long Majlis Park-Durgabhai Deshmukh South Campus stretch has already been completed "successfully", DMRC said, adding it is awaiting clearance from the CMRS. DMRC said once the segment gets the go-ahead from the Commissioner, it will be inaugurated soon.
