Chhattisgarh Partners with Capacity Building Commission to Advance Mission Karmayogi 

RAIPUR. In a major step towards strengthening governance and public service delivery, the Capacity Building Commission (CBC), Karmayogi Bharat, and the Government of Chhattisgarh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 28th July 2025 in Raipur. The MoU aims to drive Mission Karmayogi’s vision of building a future-ready, citizen-centric civil service through structured capacity-building initiatives. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of  Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, who emphasized that this initiative would play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of excellence in governance across the state.

The event was graced by senior officials including Shri Amitabh Jain, Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh; Dr. Alka Mittal, Member (Administration), CBC; Shri Subrat Sahoo, Director General, Chhattisgarh Academy of Administration; Smt. V. Lalithalakshmi, Secretary, CBC and CEO of Karmayogi Bharat; and Shri S. P. Roy, Joint Secretary, CBC.

An orientation session for Secretaries, Heads of Departments, and Departmental Nodal Officers showcased the iGOT Karmayogi platform, with Shri Rakesh Verma, COO of Karmayogi Bharat, providing a live demonstration. He highlighted the platform’s features, such as modular, role-based, and self-paced learning, which has already benefited over 1.26 crore learners nationwide.

The Government of Chhattisgarh committed to onboarding officials from various departments onto the iGOT platform and expressed interest in co-developing localized content to address the state’s specific governance priorities. This MoU marks the beginning of a long-term institutional partnership aimed at realizing a competency-based, technology-enabled, and continuously evolving learning ecosystem for civil servants in Chhattisgarh, reaffirming a shared commitment to effective and accountable governance.
