BPCL Showcases Green Hydrogen Leadership at IHFC 2025
KOVALA. Shri Sanjay Khanna, CMD, BPCL, addressed the 12th International Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Conference (IHFC–2025) held in Kovalam, Kerala, highlighting BPCL’s leadership in green hydrogen. BPCL was recognised as a leading green hydrogen producer, with the honour received by Bharat L. Newalkar, CGM (R&D), and Rahul Garg, Manager (R&D).
In his address, Shri Khanna outlined BPCL’s key initiatives, including the commissioning of its first 5 MW Green Hydrogen Plant at the Bina Refinery and progress in hydrogen mobility projects in Kochi. He emphasised BPCL’s breakthroughs in green hydrogen pricing, innovative technology deployment, and a robust decarbonisation roadmap, reaffirming the company’s commitment to supporting India’s transition towards clean energy and its ambition to become a global green hydrogen hub.
