A school’s true measure of success lies not only in academic excellence but in the values its students carry forward into the world. At Birla Open Minds International School, Bandlaguda Jagir, education is envisioned as a journey of purpose—one that nurtures young minds to grow into confident, compassionate, and responsible leaders.
Guided by the progressive vision of Directors Mr. Sandeep Yalamanchili and Mr. Dega Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, the school follows a holistic learning approach that extends far beyond textbooks. Equal importance is given to character-building, leadership development, discipline, and social responsibility, ensuring students are well-prepared for both life and leadership.
Programmes such as Scouts and Guides, Model United Nations (MUN), and participation in the Birla South Zone Interschool Sports Meet play a pivotal role in shaping students’ personalities. These platforms encourage teamwork, resilience, confidence, and emotional well-being, empowering learners to discover their strengths while developing a strong sense of social awareness.
The school’s commitment to all-round development was beautifully showcased during its Annual Day celebration, “AURORA: Illuminating the Pathways to Tomorrow.” Centered around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the event saw students use theatre, music, and dance to bring pressing global issues to life. Their performances served as a powerful reminder of the collective responsibility we share in building a sustainable and inclusive future.
The year became even more memorable with a moment of immense pride for the institution. A student delegation comprising Akshaya Reddy Pathi, Keyvan Khanna, Kapishwar, Ahaana Khandelwal, and Ms. Manasee Unniyal visited Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, where they had the rare honour of interacting with the Honourable President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu. The experience proved to be deeply inspiring, leaving a lasting impression on the young delegates and reinforcing their sense of civic awareness and national pride.
More than a milestone, this achievement reaffirmed the school’s belief in education that transcends academics. From classrooms to Rashtrapati Bhavan, the school continues to nurture students who think globally, lead with empathy, and act responsibly, preparing them to shape India’s tomorrow with vision, values, and purpose.
