The Belagavi Airport expansion project has received administrative approval from the Airports Authority of India (AAI).The AAI has also issued a tender for the upgrade works, which include the expansion of the passenger terminal building, apron, runway, aerobridges, and other facilities at Belagavi Airport in Karnataka.The estimated cost of the project is Rs 229.57 Crore.
The expansion work is expected to commence in January 2024 and will be finished within a timeframe of 24-36 months.
